How to delete your account

In the app:open the Alerts tab, scroll to Account, and tap “Delete my account”.

Without the app: sign in on this websiteand use the form that appears on this page. Or email us from the address on your account, say you want your account deleted, and say whether your athlete’s record should be deleted too. Our staff will record the request, and the same rules apply.

What happens

• Straight away: your login is removed. You are signed out everywhere, you cannot sign back in, notifications to your devices stop, and a published profile included in the request is taken down.
• Within 30 days, once Melendez Collegiate Advising’s staff process the request: your name, contact details and the messages you wrote are erased. If you asked for the athlete’s record to go too, their profile, photo, messages, notes, reports, checklist and uploaded files are erased as well.
• Melendez Collegiate Advising will let you know when it is done.

What we keep, and why

• Payment records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Your email address is taken off them, and so is your name unless your athlete stays a client.
• A waiver signed for a showcase, as it was signed.
• Measured showcase results, under an anonymous entry with no name, so an event’s results stay complete.
• A record that the request was made and completed — dates and counts, with no personal details — and a copy of the confirmation message addressed to you.

A request cannot be undone. If you change your mind later, your advisor can invite you to make a new account. More in our privacy policy.
